Admission Terms and Conditions

ELIGIBILITY FOR B.Sc. NURSING
  1. The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought. The maximum age limit for admission shall be 35 years.
  2. Minimum Educational Qualification
    1. Candidate with Science who has passed the qualifying 12th Standard examination (10+2) and must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together and passed in English individually.
    2. Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by Central Government having Science subjects and English only.
    3. English is a compulsory subject in 10+2 for being eligible for admission to B.Sc. (Nursing).
  3. Color blind candidates are eligible if color corrective contact lens and spectacles are worn by such candidates.
  4. Candidate shall be medically fit.
  5. Married candidates are also eligible for admission
  6. Students shall be admitted once in a year.
  7. Selection of candidates is based on the merit of the entrance examination (PNST). Entrance test is conducted by State Nursing Council.
  8. Reservation Policy: Admission under the reserved quota is subject to reservation policy and eligibility criteria for SC/ST/OBC/EWSs prescribed by the State Govt.
  9. Foreign Nationals: The entry qualification equivalency i.e., 12th standard will be obtained by Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi. Institution, SNRC and University will be responsible to ensure that the qualification and eligibility will be equivalent to what has been prescribed by the Council.
  10. Admission/Selection Committee This committee comprises of:
    • Principal (Chairperson)
    • Vice Principal
    • Professor
    • Chief Nursing officer or nursing superintendent
  1. Admission Strength. No of seats: - 50 (B.Sc. Nursing)
  2. Health Services: There is a provision for the following health services for the students. (An annual medical examination)
    • Vaccination against Tetanus, Hepatitis B or any other communicable disease as considered necessary
    • Free medical consultancy during illness
    • A complete health record is kept in respect of each individual student. The criteria for continuing the training of a student with long term chronic illness, will be decided by the College
ADMISSION NORMS FOR B.Sc. NURSING
  1. The admission for B.Sc. nursing course is only through an entrance examination (PNST- Pre Nursing Selection Test) conducted by the Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board and as per their norms mentioned by MPNRC.
  2. The registered candidate has report to the institution with the institutional allotment order.
  3. The admission committee of the educational institution will examine the information and original documents (mentioned in page no. 25) of eligible candidates issued online through the portal.
  4. The candidate has to deposit the institutional fees, original documents, and photocopies of documents to confirm the admission in the institute.
  5. If the candidate cancels the admission during the training, it is compulsory to deposit the remaining amount of training fees to the institution. (Madhya Pradesh Rajpatra dated 24/12/2024 page no. 716 (31) rule no. 12(C).
  6. If any documents submitted are found to be fake or the candidate violates the rules and regulations of the institute the institute, may terminate/cancel the admission of the candidate.
